Join G5 the weekend of March 15th-17th to help give some of the trails in the Old Fort area some love. Along with our neighboring chapters and other partners, we will be helping promote and organize this exciting weekend of work, riding, and camaraderie. Base camp for the event will be on the doorstep of Pisgah at Camp Grier. The hosts offer dinner, lodging, and more (like free shuttles to the top of the trails).This will be a great time! Join the Alliance for National Public Lands Day at Kerr Scott. We will be meeting at the Visitors Assistance Center near the main OVT trailhead at 9am. From there we will divide into groups and cover several maintenance items along the OVT and adjacent trails. Bring sturdy footwear, work gloves, and water. Tools will be provided. Please fill out the Trail Volunteer RSVP form so we can plan ahead.
Join us for our Annual Chapter Meeting and Social. Doors open at 6. Meeting will start promptly at 6:30.
During this meeting we will take care of some quick annual business, including our annual elections. We’ll provide some information on the state of the Alliance. Lastly, but most importantly there will be plenty of time for conversation and comradery. Details on food and beverages are forthcoming.
