We’re having our Annual Chapter Meetup & Social this Friday, December 9 at 'Anchor Coffee' in North Wilkesboro. • All are welcome . . . @anchorcoffeeco is graciously keeping their doors open for our meeting & serving a variety of coffee & other beverages. Doors open at 6pm. Meeting will start at 6:30. We’ll also have light bites & if the weather cooperates a ride departing Anchor at 4pm for a quick loop at Cub Creek. • During this meeting we will take care of annual business, provide information on the state of the Alliance, and then have plenty of time for conversation. • Meeting is open to everyone, including non-members. It has been an exciting year, we have much to share & want to hear from you about the trails you ride. • Trails & bikes are fun . . . join us this Sat • Trails & bikes are fun . . . join us this Saturday to help give the trails at Lake James State Park some love! • Work begins 9am, (Dec 3rd) at the Linville River Trailhead. We’ll be working on the Fonta Flora trail inside the State Park. To access this trailhead turn into the Linville River Campground at Hwy. 126 (35.794913, -81.890785) . . . trailhead parking area will be on your right as you drive in the campground. • Pack water & snacks to take with you on the trail. Sturdy footwear & work gloves recommended. Tools will be provided, work will end around 1pm. Also, bring a bike & take a spin afterwards. • Any day-of cancellations will be posted on our Facebook page, so check there if weather looks questionable. #workparty #lakejamesstatepark #traillove #volunteer #trailstoke #ridenwnc
