• Save the dates APRIL 10-16, 2023 “Camp SORBA • Save the dates APRIL 10-16, 2023 “Camp SORBA” is coming to Old Fort, NC . . . • The Southern Mountain Bike Summit is going to camp & we’re stoked to be co-hosting the spring edition! This multi-day event will be held in Old Fort, NC & in partnership with our friends at The G5 Trail Collective & nearby Camp Grier. • The summit will be a week full of events & sessions to empower volunteers to be amazing trail stewards. • Great day at the office yesterday for a worksh • Great day at the office yesterday for a workshop and trail maintenance at Lake James State Park! A large contingent of our members were part of the 40+ volunteers who participated. The workshop was co-hosted by the MTB Alliance and trail partners Friends of the Fonta Flora State Trail and Friends of the Mountains-to-Sea Trail. This all took place at the beautiful, brand new LJSP visitor center and adjacent trails. After the workshop, maintenance work was performed on a three mile segment of the Fonta Flora State Trail as well the Wimba Trails. • Special thanks to Tim Johnson of F3ST and Destination by Design Planning for bringing all of his experience in leading us to help make this a really special event. #happytrails #trailwork #volunteerism #partnerships #yearofthetrail @ncstateparks @fontaflorastatetrail @mountainstoseatrail @destination_by_design @sorba_main @greattrailsnc
