The Alliance is partnering with Overmountain Cycles for some work on Holly Springs (aka Sinkhole), January 31, 2022 at 9am. Join us for some maintenance work on this classic Pisgah trail. Meeting location will be near the lower trailhead at the intersection of FSR 982 Mortimer Piedmont Rd. and the gated FSR 986 Piedmont Springs Rd. (Coordinates: 35.920583,-81.792417). If you are unfamiliar with this part of the forest, it is a remote area so plan accordingly to be on time or early. There is no reliable cell service. Parking is VERY limited, so carpool with others that you know are coming.
