We are excited to share the details about our 2021 Fall Board of Directors meeting on October 29-30. The meeting will be held in Woodstock, Ga and hosted by SORBA Woodstock, Woodstock Parks and Rec, and Visit Woodstock. This meeting we are going to emphasize a good time and who better than the folks at SORBA Woodstock! Click the link below to register.
Join fellow Board members, Executive Board members, chapter members and staff for the 2021 SORBA Board of Directors meeting to ride, enjoy local amenities, hangout with fellow mountain bikers and help shape the future of SORBA.
The weekend will kick off with group rides at Rope Mill and our Friday night social at Reformation Brewing. The brewery is hosting a festival the same weekend and SORBA will have it’s own private area Friday night.
Saturday we will host the Board of Directors Meeting at the Elm Street Theater. Following the meeting we will have a breakout session, the group rides at Blankets Creek. The Saturday night social will be hosted at PUBLIC Woodstock just around the corner from Reformation Brewing.

SORBA Woodstock has added 5+ miles of new trails called “The Mill” at Rope Mill Park. These flow style trails were built by Trail Dynamics in 2015. At Blankets Creek, new alternate lines have been added to the Dwelling Trail to give more levels of progression. We have also added 2.5 miles of Flow Trails into the Dwelling Loop as an addition. Our goal is to have a new 1.5 mile advanced loop called “Gnarnia” constructed before the fall meeting. The group ride @ Blankets Creek was rained out at the 2013 Summit meeting so we really would like to have the opportunity to showcase it to a new generation of chapter leaders for inspiration in the own hometown trails. We believe that the mountain bike success stories in Woodstock have been brought about by years of experience and a great support from the city & county. It would be our honor to host this event and give new chapters a chance to ask questions about our success so that they may also incorporate these ideas back to their local communities.

Each chapter (the president or proxy) and executive board member receives ONE free registration for the meeting, socials and rides.
Additional guests for the entire weekend (spouses, chapter leadership, members) are $25.

Other Things to Do in Woodstock – Downtown Woodstock offers multiple amenities to enjoy around their city. The Outlets of Atlanta are next door to the hosting hotel. Many restaurants and shops are located all through the downtown Woodstock area. There is also a greenway that leads from Downtown Woodstock to various areas in the City that can easily be walked.
