• ANNUAL CHAPTER MEETING AND SOCIAL . . . join us for our Annual Chapter Meeting & Social this Friday, December 8th @foothillsgear in Morganton. Doors open at 6pm, meeting starts at 6:30. We are partnering with local greats @mountainburrito & @fontaflorabrew for a tacos 🌮and brews 🍻!
• During the meeting we will take care of some quick annual business, including our elections. We’ll provide information on the state of the Alliance, including our 2023 accomplishments, membership stats, past & future events, but most importantly there will be plenty of time for conversation & camaraderie. If you’re interested in joining our board please reach out to President@ridenwnctrails.com. We’re always looking for passionate folks to help drive our mission.
• The Annual Chapter Meeting is open to everyone, including non-members. We continue to have lots to talk about…whether you’ve already joined the Alliance or just wanting information, stop by to find out what we are all about.

• Big News for Boone . . . there’s a planning study underway to assess the feasibility of a beginner-friendly mountain bike park with 6-7 miles of green/blue mountain biking trails at Winkler Creek Reservoir!

• Just a quick note of gratitude to all that joined us for our dig’n ride on 21 Jumps. The maintenance performed was on point (five stars) which is invaluable for the health & longevity of our trails. Thx for the fantastic work everybody 🙌🏼 🍻 . . . we had a good day.

• We are honored and proud to announce that we’ve been chosen as a recipient of @athleticbrewing “Two for the Trails” grant program! Athletic Brewing Company’s love for the great outdoors is why they created their Two For the Trails program, where they donate up to $2 million annually to help protect, preserve, and maintain local trails.
• We plan to use these funds to refresh some of the trails at Kerr Scott Trails through contracted mechanized maintenance.
