Lake James State Park Trail Work Day
November 15, 2025 @ 9:00 am - 1:00 pm
• Fall has arrived! We’re looking forward to having a Work Party on Saturday ‘November 15 at Lake James State Park.
We’re looking for volunteers to help maintain our local MTB trails. Details 
• Meet at Long Arm Rd off Hwy 126 at 9am sharp. Bring a daypack with water & snacks. We will provide tools & crew leaders. No experience required. We will be performing maintenance on East Wimba Loop. Work will include corridor trimming, deberming & clearing trail drainages. Sturdy footwear recommended. If you have gloves & safety glasses, please bring them.
• For those interested we’ll lead a, no-drop, group mountain bike ride after the work session. Bring your riding gear & your Mtn Bike!
• SCHEDULE:

9:00am – 9:15am – Safety talk, crew assignment, explanation of tasks
9:15am – 12:00pm – Trail Work
12:00pm – 12:15pm – Return to vehicles / collect tools
1:00pm – Group Ride (optional)
