Support the Alliance With Some New Socks!

Jul 23, 2015 | Uncategorized

When ‘THE ALLIANCE’ said, “it’s time for socks”, it was an easy journey. The DeFeet® tribe just down the road does custom better than anybody, and like us, they love to shred dirt when not whipping up socks.

This version is the original Aireator®. It’s also a ‘Limited Edition Hi-Top’, with its brilliantly colored, ‘Arms Up, ALLIANCE’ logo and crazy looking, moisture wicking yarns knit in the sole. This yarn is actually made from recycled plastic bottles and helps keep your digits dry and happy. In case you didn’t know, the Aireator® is the performance airflow design that changed how modern endurance socks are made, and they’re always made locally in NC!

Even better, profits from your purchase go towards our mission of promoting land access, trail preservation, and new trail development on federal, state and local lands within Northwest NC’s mountains and foothills. This includes communities of Boone, Hickory, Lenoir, Marion, Morganton, and Wilkesboro. As a subordinate of IMBA-SORBA, ‘The Alliance’ is a non-profit organization.

These are available for purchase ($12) online at the Alliance Web Store, and can be picked up at Alliance workdays and other events or at Luna Cycles in Lenoir (big props to Luna for their help!).

Keep in mind, these are specially built for your most covert, intense, two-wheel special-ops assignments. So don’t sit on your thumbs. Grab some pairs, ‘Limited Edition’ means, when they’re gone, they’re gone!

Composition: Lightweight blend of 60% Nylon, 39% COOLMAX® Ecomade and 1% Lycra.
