“Trail Prom” Benefit Aug. 27

The Alliance and Caldwell County Pathways are pleased to announce the First Annual “Trail Prom,” a trails benefit event on August 27 at Howard Brewing in Lenoir. Doors will open at 6pm. This event is a fundraiser for trails. The Alliance and Pathways share Northwest_NC_MTB_Alliance_web_smsimilar missions toward advocacy and stewardship of trails. All proceeds from the Trail Prom will fund new trail construction or other maintenance projects.

Additional Details:

Admission. Cover charge for tPathwayshe event will be $5 for members of the Alliance and Pathways. Memberships for both groups will be available on-site. Admission for non-members will be $10 per person. Members from other IMBA Chapters are also welcome for the member rate. CLICK HERE for advance Admission purchase.

Raffle. We will have a ton of prizes to raffle – so many prizes that we’ll have two levels! Items from $10 to $250 in value will be raffled off with $2 tickets, and a few “Big Ring” items over $250 in value will be available with $10 tickets. This will be “pick your prize” style, so you’ll be able to put your tickets toward exactly what you want. Band. Handlebar Betty!

Food. The taco truck from El Tacorriendo will be outside with their authentic tacos and a variety of other delicious eats for purchase (cash only).  Essie & Olive Pop Co. will also be on hand with some tasty treats.

Other stuff you get for attending. First drink (or taco) is on us, and you’ll get a commemorative pint glass to boot. Plus it will be a really fun night out!

Group Ride. For those of you who really want to get your trails on, we will have a group ride at 3pm at Zacks Fork Trail. Showers will be available after the ride between 4:00 and 6:00 at the Lenoir Aquatic Center so you can get cleaned up in time for the Prom.
