Riverbend Park

Catawba County NC

Riverbend Park is on a beautiful 690 acres along the Catawba River. There are just over 20 miles of trails for mountain biking. Overall, this is a great facility for beginner riders as there are many maintained doubletrack trails at low grade.

Trail Profile

Currently the “Blue Loop” offers the most singletrack. The Blue Loop is 4 miles and about half of that is singletrack. Despite a good bit of moderate terrain, some of the blue loop has some technical steep sections.

The trails at Riverbend Park do not officially open or close for weather, but please use common sense when considering riding in wet conditions.

Riverbend Park is closed on Wednesdays.

History & Background

The park is beginning to undergo some changes for mountain biking. The Alliance began working with the park staff in 2016 to help Riverbend become a destination for great riding. Stay tuned for updates!
