2015 Wilkesboro Trail Fest

Join the Alliance and BMCC October 23-25 for a weekend of EPIC camping and riding at the Kerr Scott Trails! We are excited to have a fun weekend planned that will include camping, group rides, bike demos, and some other “Trail Love” (in the form of a work party on Saturday Oct. 24th).

Tentative Schedule:

Friday, October 23rdepics-logo
– Camping at Warrior Creek Campground (see below)
– Night Rides at Warrior Creek, 7pm

Saturday, October 24th
– Work Party – 9am – 1pm (see below)
Bike Demos – 2- 5pm Warrior Creek Back Trailhead (map)
Women’s Group Ride 2pm, Warrior Creek (meet at Demo)
– Evening Rides on OVT / Horton’s Hollar
– Camping at Warrior Creek Campground (see below)

Sunday, October 25th
– Morning Rides, TBD

Trail Work Detail. The work we will be performing is simple maintenance including drainage work, face-slapper trimming, and removing annoying roots from the berms! We will also have some sweet door prizes including CST Tires and DeFeet Socks. Wear sturdy footwear and bring work gloves if you have some. Tools will be provided. Meet at the Horton’s Hollar Trailhead on Hwy 268 ->MAP<-

Camping Information. Camping will be free of charge with 4 hours of trail volunteer work on Saturday. If you are planning on camping one or both nights RSVP is REQUIRED, by filling out this quick form: Registration Link
